The live performance taking place as part of the exhibit has been inspired by ‘The Unlimited Dream Company’ book by JG Ballard. The main choreographer for the work was Megan Thomas, who has created this spontaneous but finely choreographed work. The story takes you through the book from start to finish, based at The Greyfriars for a total of ten minuets then takes to the street in a scene of the pied piper leading the audience and the performers to St Benedicts. Where there is a short finale. All masks were made by the performers, inspired by the birds featured in the book.

The music for the Performance was composed especially for the exhibit by Adam Coles, a composer based in the Yorkshire area. Using sounds made by the performers made in The Greyfriars as well as whatever the venue provided he composed a individual site specific backing track. He then performed live each night of performance responding to the movements of the performers.
